Connecting to the Internet

  • Desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile phones can connect to the Internet
  • Mobile phones can use Wi-Fi, or the cellular data connection provided by Globe, Smart, Sun, etc. to access the Internet
  • Things to remember when you are connected to the Internet:
    • Your device uses more power when you are connected to the Internet, which means your cellphone’s charge will drain faster
    • Using cellular data consumes load credits if you are not subscribed to a plan or promo that does not include data. You need to be mindful about this otherwise the load of your cellphone will run out, until you can’t call or send text messages anymore.
